Connect
Every CHD journey is different. Those of us who have been around the heart world for a while are well aware of this fact. Those that are just beginning their journey will quickly learn this as well. Yet, regardless of how different our journeys are and the different directions we find ourselves heading in, there is a sense of comfort in connecting with others who have been down a similar road. We all get it. Families who haven’t experienced caring for a child with a CHD don’t necessarily get it. So it’s nice to connect with other families, read about our individual journeys, and find similarities and friendships along the way.
